Family Bonds on the Frozen Trails: The Chen Journey

The Chen family from Toronto sought an adventure that would bring them closer and disconnect them from city life. Our 3-day Dog Sledding Adventure provided an unforgettable bonding experience against the pristine Yukon backdrop.

"Seeing our children's faces light up as they helped harness the dogs, and feeling the crisp air as we glided through the taiga, was truly magical. Everything You Need to Know

The prime viewing season for the Northern Lights (Aurora Borealis) in Yukon is from late August to mid-April. During these months, the nights are long and dark enough to witness spectacular displays. For the best chances, we recommend joining one of our Northern Lights Photography Workshops.

Packing depends on the season and specific adventure. Generally, layered clothing is essential, including thermal base layers, fleece mid-layers, and waterproof/windproof outer shells. For winter tours, we often provide specialized extreme cold weather gear. A detailed packing list will be provided upon booking.

We offer a wide range of experiences, from gentle wildlife viewing excursions to strenuous wilderness expeditions. Each tour description specifies the required fitness level. We encourage you to discuss any concerns with our adventure specialists to find the perfect trip for you.

We understand that plans can change. Our standard cancellation policy allows for a full refund up to 90 days before departure. Within 90-30 days, a 50% refund is issued. No refunds are available within 30 days. We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance. Detailed terms are available here.

Our commitment to sustainability is core to our values. We operate 100% carbon-neutrally, partner extensively with Indigenous communities, and adhere to strict wildlife protection and Leave No Trace principles. Learn more on our Eco-Tourism page.
